IN PHOTOS | The Schools District of Nabas Educational Innovation Showdown 2024 declared Solido National High School’s Project HAMPANG as this year’s champion in the Teaching Category, following an impressive demonstration of educational innovation that captivated both evaluators and attendees. Held at the Nabas Municipal Function Hall on November 4, 2024, the competition featured groundbreaking projects aimed at advancing teaching methodologies and enhancing student engagement across the district.
Project HAMPANG, an offline game-based application designed to enhance students’ examination scores through gamified assessment and practice activities, clinched the top prize in this year’s showdown. Developed by Solido National High School innovators Mr. Reynaldo Anario Jr., Ms. Jolliah D. Ibadlit and Mr. Jayson I. Barrientos, the project was recognized for its unique approach to addressing educational challenges and integrating gamification to boost student motivation and learning outcomes.
The team behind Project HAMPANG expressed heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support received from fellow SNHS innovators, who were in full attendance at the event. The support and presence of School Principal, Ms. Ruth F. Corro and the Head Teacher, Mr. Julie A. Prado were also highlighted as instrumental in driving the project’s success, inspiring and motivating the team to achieve excellence.
“We are beyond grateful for the encouragement and presence of our colleagues and school heads who supported Project HAMPANG from its inception. This achievement reflects a collective effort and a shared passion for educational advancement,” stated Mr. Anario, Project Leader of HAMPANG.
