The 2024 School-Based In-Service Training (INSET) of Solido National High School opened with great success on its first day, bringing together the passionate and dedicated Solidian educators to enhance their skills and foster innovation in teaching. Held at the school’s computer laboratory, the event featured significant discussions led by remarkable speakers, setting the tone for an impactful training series.
School Principal, Ma’am Ruth F. Corro, started the day with a thought-provoking discussion on Transforming Teaching with Technology. She emphasized the importance of integrating modern technology into teaching strategies to adapt to the evolving educational landscape, enhance student engagement and make learning more accessible and efficient.
Following this, Ma’am Grichelle O. Pelayo captivated the audience with her presentation on Version 2.0 of Project COSIS, a cutting-edge educational innovation. Her presentation showcased the enhanced version of the project, emphasizing its potential to elevate the learning experience for students.
Mr. Noel T. Abenir then took the stage to present Canva: A Creative Tool for Education, a hands-on demonstration on how this versatile platform can empower teachers to create visually appealing and engaging instructional materials.
Rounding off the day’s sessions, Ma’am Elza B. Vicera delivered an insightful talk titled Building Bridges for Innovation: Preparing and Structuring Effective Research Partnerships. She highlighted the importance of collaboration in research, equipping teachers with strategies to form partnerships that drive educational innovation and address classroom challenges effectively.
The first day of the 2024 INSET set a high standard, leaving participants inspired and equipped with fresh ideas to bring into their classrooms.
